2008 Atlantic City Pro Prejudging: Con 6th Callout, Luke 8th Callout
The 2008 IFBB Atlantic City Pro has two Australian bodybuilders competing in addition to Donna and Rosa; Con Demetriou and Luke Wood.
Dave Palumbo, the editor of Muscular Development had this to say about the two Aussie pros.
“Luke Wood: looks like he lost muscle…….. he’s shaking onstage………. he’s hard but completely flat and undersized”
“Constatino Demtrious [sic] Australia……… great pecs……. thick back…….needs more size to compete with these guys…..good abs”
Milos Sarcev on Con Demetriou:
“But, in any case I wanted to be the first one to point out newcomer from Australia (certainly with Greek origin…) and comment on his GREAT OVERALL LOOK (very symmetrical body, aesthetically pleasing, balanced…conditioned…EVERYTHING that bodybuilding nowadays so desperately needs”
By callouts, it looks like the top four will be Darrem Charles, Toney Freeman, Johnny Jackson and Melvin Anthony.
Luke Wood, who looked great in his 8 day out pics, was called out basically in the last group [8th] and per Palumbo’s comments we can assume something may have not gone well for him at the last minute.

I think Luke must have dropped about 20 pounds of muscle from the 8 weeks pics, looks like a nattie!
OD on thyro meds he says, Ive trained in the same gym as him and is well known to take HUGE amounts of gear and sells it to,but shit stuff.
Luke should really stop listening to Milos.
