There are quite a few of these emails each week, and really the answer is if you don’t see it on the site we most likely do not have it. As the site grows at a rate of 20 pages a day, there is usually a backup of items waiting to go on so it may be scheduled to be added, so just keep checking back and possibly it may be added in future. The navigation is laid out as clearly as was able, and there is a full Site Map you can check where the major pages are listed, divided by section. The search feature [located on the blog sidebar or main site homepage] can also help you determine what we have. We aren’t talking about specific requests we get where people want to locate older items/people etc which we are more then pleased to help with if able, but really having to walk people through the site via email instead of them looking themself.
Replying to these queries takes up valuable time that could be used to add and improve to the site, so it would be appreciated if visitors just looked themself rather then send an email asking for the direct link.
Who runs and owns this site?
This gets asked alot via email for some reason…this site is an independent entity, it is not run nor affiliated with any supplement company, federation or gym. It’s owned, run and the website is completely updated only by one person - me [Patricia], with assistance given to me in information sourcing. I was disappointed prior by the lack of comprehensive websites covering all aspects of all federations and divisions of the physique world in Australia, so thought I would make a stab at changing that so started this site earlier this year.
Person A, Person B is not listed in your profile section, why not?
This is the most popular query I get and also 90% of the “complaints” are about this. Interesting as the Aussie profile section is by far the largest and most comprehensive online, bar none.
Trying to obtain photos, contest records, bio info, videos etc that can be legally used for over 100 people spanning 50 years is quite a challenge.
Any major figure omitted is simply due to lack of information, with no slight intended. This site only started in 2008, and I work on the profiles every day adding more and improving the ones I have, so in time I hope to rectify the omissions. I scour the internet, scan in magazines old and new, email and fanatically stalk contact people via Facebook and Myspace and really work to build the profiles. I would love to have everyone listed, and try relentlessly to do so - but it is actually quite challenging.
Also, the profiles are only a small section of the overall site which is thousands of pages, so there are the logistics of maintaining the whole site - not just the profile section to consider.
I have had help from a handful of great people who have sent in photos. Obtaining information is not always easy. If you can in any way help with profiles of upper level Aussie competitors, I would love that - so please feel free to contact me with any photos and/or information you can offer.
Why do you not cover more shows? It’s unfair you cover one and not others?
Same reason as above; I am only one person and it the contest coverage is only part of the whole site.
Obviously unlike most large sites this website is not income generating, therefore restricting my ability to pay for coverage, and frankly few wish to help without monetary compensation.
The Victoria show photos and results are actually sent to me by a close friend of mine who also uploads those videos to youtube. I have had some help from one other person as well sending me items, and of course I am still left to upload, build pages and all the related aspects of getting the info on the site single handedly which takes many hours each time, often to the point I pull an “all nighter” to get the contest coverage up in a timely manner.
If you can in anyway help - email in results, a few photos or anything that would be great. Perth, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory I have zero [as you can tell] so especially if you can help me build up coverage of those regions it would be much appreciated. Without nationwide help, I basically cannot cover all shows obviously.

Thanks to those who have emailed me with compliments about the site. In this short year this website has grown by leaps and bounds, I work on it daily for hours on end and am on track to get over a million hits this first year. So bear with me, 2009 will bring a much bigger and better website!
