i have asked for paulines "please explain" on bolex as well. i saw Ann Marie saturday night & sunday morning prior to the australasians & not only is she a great athlete she is a great person as well.

I have to think that in Sydney they (judges) were looking for someone a bit softer in the figure.
Unless the judges were so confused, it was all over the place.
But, I think in Perth it was a better outcome.
Judging is always only in the eye.

The lady in the red bikini is Leonie Michewski and she is from Perth. I natural competitor who took out the INBA Overall WA Figure in 2008 and the Intermediate Division of the Nationals on the Golds Coast 2008.

I totally agree with what you have said. What sort of message does it send competitors each year when there is no consistency in the figure judging. Belinda Potter won the Australasian's last year with a hard ripped physique but they chose someone much softer this year....

And the comment about Ann Marie being a nice girl is spot on!! She is very humble, kind hearted and keeps very much to herself, not getting tied up in all the politics that can accumulate in this sport.

Patricia, I only know who the girls are cause so many of them have purchased suits and stuff from me over the years.... and I try to go to as many of the National events as possible, usually the only time I get to meet them in person.

Agree. Must have been disappointing to hear her name called for third place after winning last weekend.

In some lineups it seems like the majority rules. Michelle is 6' tall and Ann Marie isn't much shorter.
