I love running! Most BB's hate it.. but I have big legs and I find running keeps them in proportion to my upper body. It's also a bit like meditating for me.. my time to think. I also love sprinting

I would love to be able to jog but I get such a sore back and knees (well 1 knee) the next day so don't jog so much. But I do interval walk 2 min, then sprint 30sec on the treadmill which makes me feel like I'm putting in some effort!

I probably only do this once a week as the old bones and joints can't handle it too often.

Go Figure I can't run (or walk) on the treadmill. I get severe shin splints. Yet outside nothing hurts! We're fortunate enough to have a beautiful park just up the road from us... with lots of hills.. & great views.. & a lake.. & ducks LOL, so I run there

I'm not a big fan of jogging/running for distance. I played American football for six years as a defensive lineman which entails a LOT of impact on the lower-body joints. I do, however, really really enjoy running wind sprints or uphill sprints.

Melita you're so brave to run outdoors! I'm so paranoid of people watching me and the way I run. I'm thinking 'what will they think if I stop running'! I know excuses, excuses. But hey I do try and do interval sprints at a secluded park I have nearby.

I like running, but the joints don't. Ugh. I actually find it hard to walk for 2 days after jogging as my ankles get so inflamed, so obviously I gave it up.

I do run in the water though at the beach, joints like that. I also do sprints, as same as Melita my legs are kind of large and I find it very helpful to chisel them down some.

My dads a Marathon Runner, he's pretty good. Won quite a few masters divisions in his day.

I never run anymore. My knee's (mainly left one) can't take it. Running/jogging is actually very rough on the body, paticularly if you are a heavier person. If you must jog, make sure you have good quality running shoes and try and run on grass when possible.

Occasionally i will go to the sand dunes with a few mates who still play footy and we will do a few sprints and stuff. Fun, but tough.
