Hmmm, a bit more trivia. My view of Deanne is obviously a bit different to yours.

Deanne was one of those people who ripped into that poor little 10yo kid who competed in that Fitness class of INBA's All Female comp last year. This quote comes straight off a link from this website:

What an ignorant and disgraceful statement, typical of the rubbish that comes out of the WNBF.
To say that I am neither a fan of Deanne or the shit federation that she competes in would be a major understatement.

My post is a response to London's post that kind of paints Deanne as a half decent person.
Based on her pathetic quote about an innocent 10yo girl I just wanted people to know that she might look alright on the outside, but it's what's inside that counts.

Nothing much to get excited about if you ask me.

On the subject, I make my living online so tend to think in online terms. I also had access to referral logs of not only this site, but others. The 10yr old was a pinup queen for online pedophile websites. We got thousands of hits from one alone.

I followed a referral link and was nearly sick to my stomach.

It was so bad, I reported the site and had it removed. I hope something more came out of it [I reported it to the American police as well], as what I saw was illegal - trust me you don't want to know. Hate to sound so gay, but it still upsets me to think about. Child abuse

As a web geek, since the online world is 'my world' so that isn't something I would be comfortable with, lot of sickos of there in the real world they hide more, online they come out a bit. The idea of a thousands of pedos worldwide jacking off to my kid isn't too nice.

That's me though - the warped view of a webmaster....

Do you know any of the facts about Maughan's participation in this event or are you just get all defensive of Deanne because you want to root her?

Before you put your uneducated mouth into gear and make uninformed statements like Deanne has done, why don't you do a bit of investigative work and get your facts straight.

She didn’t diet. They are just down the road from where I live. She is a young active girl with good genetics. She competed in the Fitness part and did a little bit of a bodybuilding routine as her father used to do it. They are making a big deal of it saying it’s wrong. What’s the difference from that or kids playing any other sports or doing gymnastics etc? At least she is staying healthy. If she loves it, go for it I say.

And the ones who look at this and think something sexual right away shows where their mind’s at. Let kids be kids and enjoy life, whatever they choose to do, so long as it doesn’t hurt them or anyone else. Just support them.

And to clarify....as thats one of those posts I will probably regret anyway...I am not "hating". I am reporting sheer fact...if anyone has a strong stomach, and doesn't mind the possibility of arrest for looking at child porn...dig through some sites..and you will see.

We may see it as a great things kids are into fitness not wanting to eat junk and play video games all day - but the world reality is as it is. Not everyone is like us, some ppl are sickos.

You are certainly in an awkward situation, sick bastards like paedophiles are always going to find photos and articles of young kids on various websites across the world, there is not a lot you can do about it but I certainly commend your efforts in reporting them to the authorities who would no doubt be fighting a loosing battle against these sickos.

I understand, but we can't stop the world because of a handful of sickos.
We can't just lock the kids up until they turn 21.

Providing the children are under parental supervision, (as Maughan was), then they should be given every right to participate in whatever activities they like.
