First IFBB Pro Cards in "Bikini" To Be Given this Weekend - Australia-bodybuilding Forums

The Americans will be giving out the first ever 'Bikini IFBB Pro Cards" this weekend.

There will be 2 IFBB pro cards in the bikini [sportmodel] division on May 23 at the NPC JR Nationals in South Carolina, USA.

This would be the first time pro cards are awarded in bikini in the IFBB anywhere in the world.

I guess [?] they will give them to the overall winner and then another class winner like they do with other shows in figure.....here are the height class breakdowns...

• Up to 5’1”
• Over 5’1” and up to and including 5’2-1/2”
• Over 5’2-1/2” and up to and including 5’4”
• Over 5’4” and up to and including 5’5-1/2”
• Over 5’5-1/2” and up to and including 5’7”
• Over 5’7”

Apparently, it's about 50/60 Bikini girls in so far.....

We will see, the first cards awarded set the standard somewhat, will be interesting to see what happens....

You are too nice Tanny, unfortunately I'm not.
I seriously hate Sportsmodel classes, they totally suck.

My day is long enough without having to endure a bunch of stuck-up skanks parading around in bikinis, dresses, and stupid themed or sports outfits.

Its getting beyond a joke.
Its a known fact that the judges simply chose the competitor that they want to root as the winner.

Why not just get the Sportsmodels to line up backstage after the show and suck the judges cocks, that way everyones happy.

The audience doesn't have to watch them, the judges get to fulfil their fantasies and the Sportsmodels get to do what they do best.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Absolute crap! (No offence).

I have yet to speak to one single person who bought a ticket to a bodybuilding show just on the fact that there were Sportsmodels competing.

They bring in all their friends and family who hate bodybuilding and quickly fuck-off after the Sportsmodels have been on.

It does absolutely nothing to help bodybuilding.

Promoters should start looking after the bodybuilders better rather than looking at adding more skanky classes to their shows to stop falling audience numbers.

The whole situation is fucked.

For one, guys - as in general pervs - will have to sit through the rest of the show. If these guys were into fitness type T&A, they would have already been going to see the fitness/figure women. Sitting through a stack of quarter turns, men and a 5 hr show to see some T&A?

If I was a bikini model like hell I would do some IFBB show, I would take mu bikini clad self right to places that pay the big dollars like Hawaiian Tropics, some of those girls compete on the bikini circuit and make 6 figures a year just from wins....thats where all the 'super hotties' are, and they can't cross over into IFBB as then they have to stop the other contests. How many "hotties" want to give up big dollars for an IFBB pro card? Some may, the bulk won't even consider it. The hottest bikini models will be out earning money, not pansying around in the IFBB.

Will add more family and friends to the spectators, is about it.

Spot-on Patricia, the Sportsmodels that I have seen in every federation here in Australia are crap.
They wouldn't stand a chance in the world of real modelling.
If they were any good they wouldn't be seen dead at a bodybuilding show.

As usual bodybuilding is the loser - we just get left with the dregs.
