80 year old Ray Moon, whom we profiled earlier here, competed in the NABBA Victorian titles in Melbourne, where he won the “over 60s” category on September 14, 2008.
“I usually go in the “over 70s but they cut it out, so I was up against younger men,” Reuters news agency quoted Moon as saying.
Ray Moon is training up to 2.5 hrs a day for his fifth show; the NABBA Victorian Championship to be held on September 14.
He has already won four Victorian and Australian bodybuilding over 70 divisions.
He has had polio, open heart surgery, suffered a cardiac arrest, two minor strokes, prostate problem, was pronounced clinically dead [...]
Former bodybuilder and now NABBA figure competitor Coral Moody represented Australia strongly with an excellent 3rd place finish in her first figure international competition at the NABBA worlds held in June 2008 in Katerini, Greece.
